Humbie, East & West Saltoun

The annual Road Race organised by Musselburgh Roads Cycling club, the British Eagle Trophy, is due to take place on 4th of May 2024 from 11am to around 2pm. The event will start and finish at Humbie, taking a circular route to Bolton Muir Wood and through East and West Saltoun. The race HQ will be at Humbie Village Hall. The course has been risk assessed and the race has recently been given the go ahead by British Cycling and East Lothian Council / Police – Safety Advisory Group. There will be two Commissaires appointed by Scottish Cycling along with static marshals with red flags and mobile race marshals (two British Cycling NEG motorbikes) which will make oncoming traffic aware of the race approaching.
