It is East Lothian Council’s intention to undertake carriageway repair work on the B6368 from Hattonhill to Bughtknowe. This work will commence on Saturday 22nd March 2025 for 7 days, weather permitting.
To comply with current Health & Safety legislation, it will be necessary to close the road to through vehicular traffic for the duration of the works. A signed local diversion route will be in place. Pedestrian and emergency access will always be maintained. Local vehicular access to Stable Cottage and Highlea to be retained where practicable but will vary in direction depending on location of work force. Vehicular access to Bughtknowe will be maintained from the east side of the B6368 and access to Hattonhill will be maintained from the west.
Refuse and recycling bins will be emptied where practical, however, residents have been asked to have bins and boxes out for 7am on collection days.
