Get Potholes Repaired

Have you just bounced over a pothole? Do you want to get the pothole repaired?

You can notify East Lothian Council of new potholes through their Report a Pothole map. It’s really easy. Just navigate to the appropriate location on the map and click. You can add additional information in a text box and then record your own details. It is completed in just a few minutes.

The more reports there are the more the Council know what to repair.

After the winter weather many of the roads around the district are in need of some repair. Small cracks in the road and areas of damage can quickly increase in size leading to large potholes which can easily cause punctures and damage to vehicles. Potholes are also a distraction for drivers, potentially leading to accidents with other vehicles. These risks are much increased at night time on dark country lanes.

Help us keep our roads safe by reporting a pothole today.
